PTFE PISTON SEAL CLASPER

The seal clasper is designed for the installation of PTFE piston seals. It can clasp the seals back to the groove, with a seal ranging from 50mm OD to 360mm OD. The stainless-steel belt is adjustable according to the dimension of the seals, and the HPU triangle protector prevents the seal from getting damaged in the pressing process. With the clasper the piston seal can be fitted into the cylinder safely and rapidly. Due to it’s ease of use it saves on time and ensure no use of improvised tools. 

Instructions for use:         

• Adjust the length of stainless-steel belt to match the seal
• Pull up the knob, and then rotate it in a clockwise direction until the belt can clasp the seal
• Stretch the handles and keep clasping for at least 5 seconds.

Warning:

Don’t press too hard once the stainless-steel belt reaches the surface of the piston seal. It may cause fatal damage to the seal clasper. Be cautious when handling the steel belt as it’s sharp, we recommend wearing working gloves.
